Created by hand on August 29, 2026, TAKEUSHOME™ Artifact 007 was made while thinking about one thing:

Chess, not checkers.

Every move doesn’t have to produce an immediate result. Sometimes the move you’re making now is positioning you for something you won’t see until later.

The intersecting green lines were created by hand across the garment, forming a raw grid that reflects movement, positioning, and different paths. CHECKMATE was then worked directly into the piece.

For TAKEUSHOME, the message goes beyond the board.

Think beyond the move in front of you.
Position yourself.
See the whole board.
Then execute.

The raw edges, distressed openings, uneven brush pressure, overlapping paint, and imperfections remain intentionally visible. They document the process and ensure this exact garment cannot be reproduced.

Finished with the handwritten “TUH 007 / AUG 29” archive marking and TUH identification inside the collar.
